Symptoms of Coronavirus

The main symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness, dry cough, cold with a runny nose and shortness of breath.

However, allergies cause common sneezing and coughing. And flu causes fever and body ache but no shortening o breath.

If you have runny nose is doesn’t mean that you might have novel coronavirus.

But if you have a dry cough, tiredness, and fever (even mild) you might have coronavirus and must-visit a doctor in this regard.

COVID-19 is an acute illness, similar to flu and the common cold. Acute illness means people feel fine until symptoms start showing up.

Shortness of breath is one of the distinct and unique signs that interpret you may have corona. But initially, for 5-10 days after getting contaminated, it does not show this symptom of shortness of breath. And the most vulnerable thing is that even though it doesn’t show any prominent symptoms it is contagious even at the primary stage. It gets more and more contagious once you develop symptoms.

Like the one with COVID 19, sneezes and coughs can spread this virus to a tremendous amount. And one single person can infect 1000 people and more and more if the chain doesn’t break at the very initial stage.

So, it is very important to remain quarantine,  if you have a travel history of visiting corona affected countries, to break the chain of this dangerous virus.

This virus affects differently for each and every individual. Sometimes it is mild and sometimes it could be very severe.

You should take extra care if you are diabetic, low immunity, high blood pressure, heart problems,  or old age.  Because you may more likely to develop serious illness.

Mild cases of COVID-19 are thought to last approximately 2 weeks or less.

But, severe symptoms of COVID-19 include difficulty breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, or bluish lips or face, the latter indicating a shortage of oxygen in the bloodstream.

It has a mortality rate of 2%.
